PC104 Modems Designed to Meet Global Telecom and Safety  
Requirements, Featuring -40oC to +85oC Extended  
Temperature Operations.  
 
San Jose, CA., February, 2001 - Radicom Research,  
Inc., a leading OEM modem manufacturer, is in full  
production of modem modules for the PC/104 embedded  
systems. The modems featuring -40C to +85C extended  
temperature operation and are designed to meet the  
worldwide telecom and safety requirements including  
cUL 1950 3rd edition and CB scheme or TUV.  
 
Standard features include V.90 (56 kbps) and V.34  
(33.6 kbps) date speed, 14.4 kbps fax speed, voice  
recording and playback and DTMF decode, 2-wire  
leased-line and dial-up support.  
 
Radicom's PC/104 modems support a wide variety of  
operating systems including DOS, Windows, Linux and  
Unix. The complete solution provides system engineers  
the flexibility to include modem functionality in the  
PC/104 embedded systems with minimum engineering  
resources.  
 
The list pricing for the V.34, 33.6 kbps PC/104  
modem (Model # 336PC/104W) and V.90, 56 kbps PC/104  
modem (Model # 560PC/104W) are $149.00 and $199.00  
respectively. OEM and distributor's volume purchase
