parvus' Embedded Computing Products Now Offered in Japan Through Distributor Daito Electron

SALT LAKE CITY and OSAKA, Japan - January 3, 2002 - parvus Corporation today, a PC/104 Consortium Executive Member, announced it has signed an agreement with Daito Electron Co., Ltd., extending Daito Electron the right to represent parvus' PC/104-based computing products in Japan.
The distributor agreement marks the first time that parvus' products have been offered to the Japanese market. parvus has traditionally focused its sales efforts on U.S.-based Fortune 1000, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the defense, aerospace, medical and light industrial fields.
"parvus is pleased to initiate a business relationship with Daito Electron and begin marketing parvus' product lines to the thousands of potential customers in the Japanese electronics, manufacturing, and related markets," said Tom Hogan, president of parvus.
Daito Electron has 50 years of experience selling hardware and electronic components in Japan. The company is listed on the Tokyo (Code: 7609) and Osaka (Code: 5338) stock exchanges. Its corporate headquarters are located in Osaka with a major facility in Tokyo and sales locations throughout Japan.
