World's first PCI-104 SBC with Intel® Pentium® M Processor 755 announced from LiPPERT

This single board computer, dubbed "Cool RoadRunner 4", (CRR4-PM755) is equipped with the fastest available Pentium(R) M Prossesor in 90nm Technology, also known under its codename "Dothan". Running at a CPU speed of 2.0 GHz with 2 MByte L2 Cache and 400MHz Frontside Bus, the CRR4-PM755 brings a major performance breakthrough for the embedded computer market. It is compliant with the PCI-104 form factor. 
The Cool RoadRunner 4 features the 855GME chipset, which offers a high performance 3D internal graphics controller that can handle two independent displays using Intel's Extreme Graphics 2 controller. It supports up to 1600x1200 pixel at 85 Hz. A VGA port is build in as well as a dual channel 18-Bit LVDS interface for interference-connection of LCD Displays.  
Six independent USB 2.0 ports and a 1000BaseT Gigabit Ethernet connection round up the feature list. The system memory is expandable up to 1024 MByte DDRAM @ 333 MHz in the single on-board SO-DIMM socket.  
The Ultra ATA 100 EIDE interface allows the use of a wide range of disk drives and CompactFlash cards. 
Using only a single 5 VDC power supply the Cool RoadRunner 4 is a real all-in-one high performance X86 single board computer for the manifold Embedded PC applications. 
The Cool RoadRunner 4 will be available in different speed options. Depending on the CPU speed and the application area either passive, active (with small fan) cooling or a heat spreader version will be available.  
The Cool RoadRunner 4 will be available in Q4/2004. 
Supported operating systems are Linux®, Windows® XP(E) and Windows® CE.
