Contact Name: Fred Fischer
AAEON announces the release of their latest addition to the PCI-104 product line. The PCM-2004 is a USB2.0 compliant Host controller board with an integrated hub, giving embedded and industrial designers up to 8 additional high-speed USB ports to meet today’s demand for more and faster peripherals. Utilizing NEC’s uPD720101, the PCM-2004 (DX version) allows you to add an additional 5 high speed USB ports to your system through the PCI-104 interface. If Hub functionality is all that is needed, the PCM-2004 base model, utilizing the SMSC USB20H04 Hub controller, gives you the advantage of a USB2.0 Hub built right into your system, providing connectivity for 4 high speed devices. Also available is an Ultra version, the PCM-2004-Ultra, offering a total of 8 USB2.0 ports. Pin headers are onboard to drive link and activity LEDs where you want them. A 4-pin power input header is provided if the module is not installed in a PCI-104 socket. PCI arbitration signals are all jumper selectable to ensure compatibility with your existing devices.
