IDAN™ & HiDAN™ PC/104 Enclosures

Rugged Milled Aluminum Systems

IDAN Features:

The HighRel IDAN Intelligent Data Acquisition Node (pictured above, right with frame mounted module in front) is the latest in Industrial PC computing power and control capability in a rugged modular housing.  Constructed of  machined aluminum, the IDAN modular enclosure acts as a heatsink and envelopes your sensitive data acquisition system with an operating range from -40 to +85°C without a fan. 

Design your PC/104 or PC/104-Plus IDAN system with RTD's cpuModules, dataModules and utilityModules.  Each board level module is mounted in and wired to a stackable frame with all external I/O connectors.  The system is assembled by stacking the frames -- much like a PC/104 stack.  IDAN is a true modular system.  The stack can be separated between any two frames and restacked at will allowing field upgrades and expansion without the need to redesign or rewire.  A complete IDAN system includes your choice of board level modules, bolts, a top cover (plain or with handles), and a base plate (plain, with mounting flange, with handles, or with our shock mount isolation base plate which allows the system to withstand excessive vibration).  Your IDAN system comes completely assembled and ready to use.

HiDAN Features:

RTD brings you the watertight HiDAN HighRel Intelligent Data Acquisition Node (pictured above, left with aluminum housing in front).  The HiDAN system is a sealed machined aluminum modular enclosure acting as a heatsink that delivers performance from –40 to +85°C without a fan. An EMF environmental gasket is integrated into a tongue and groove configuration around the perimeter of each section offering 80dB of isolation to 1 GHz and rated at withstanding 30 PSID.  MIL-C38999 Series I circular connectors offer easy connection while maintaining the environmental seal integrity built into the enclosure.  HiDAN is designed to be easily configured to meet your system and connector preferences.
