Job Description: Sr Electrical Engineer

Job Information:
Looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer with broad experience in design and implementation of complex analog and digital feedback and control systems and optoelectronic sensing circuits, to participate as a member of a small team in the design, implementation and operation of the control and data acquisition of a large experimental physics facility at one of the premier research institutions in the world. Requires the ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, to combine the scientific requirements of the research project with the technical possibilities in the field of feedback control, remote control and data acquisition. Includes the direct responsibility for large system components.  
 
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. desirable. 8 years experience in the field of analog and digital feedback control, monitoring and data acquisition systems, preferably for large physics experiments. Experience in one or more of the following is desirable: design of front-end interface electronics including low noise analog electronic circuits, VME based systems, UNIX, embedded microprocessor hardware and software systems, remote control and monitoring systems.
